The Management Team
Tom Williams
Tom Williams has more than 10 years experience in the manufacturing enterprise software market, with an emphasis on production, sales, distribution, and inventory. He has extensive experience, including company management and process improvement projects. His experience also includes project management, training, and positioning companies to implement enterprise software.
Before starting Adaptent, Williams was President of an enterprise software company focused on mid-market manufacturing customers. During his tenure he was instrumental in developing a consulting division and was the leading force in creating the new sales management suite, distribution and inventory modules, and integration services. Under his control as the President, the company went from a history of breaking even to achieving a measurable profit.
Prior to working in the enterprise software market, he was a Regional Manager for a distribution company managing over 200 drivers in four locations focusing on operational improvement projects and leveraging technology to improve route management and warehousing operations.
Earlier in his career, Williams worked at the Corporate Offices of Schuck’s Auto Supply specializing in logistics and operational improvement projects. Tom is a Microsoft Certified Professional.
Williams holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Western Washington University.
Robbie Harding
Robbie Harding has years of experience working in the supply chain and operations field including inventory management, production, purchasing, logistics, software, and consulting. He has extensive experience in project management, systems implementation, and process improvement projects.
Before starting Adaptent, Harding was the Manager of Consulting Services for an enterprise software company focused on mid-market manufacturing customers. He managed a team of consultants that performed requirements analysis, systems implementations, and overall process improvement projects for clients in the United States and Canada. He also played a key role in working with development to map out requirements for system enhancements and future modules.
Prior to working in the enterprise software market, he worked in operations for ClearMedical, a medical device reprocessing company. At Clearmedical, he managed production, inventory, and purchasing. He also relocated to Ohio for 6 months to open a new reprocessing facility from the ground up. Before ClearMedical, he gained experience working for the Starbucks Coffee Company in production planning and international logistics.
Harding holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain and Manufacturing Management from Western Washington University.
Adam Herman
Adam Herman has more than 6 years professional experience working in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software industry with a focus in software design & implementation, systems integration, process improvement, and business analysis. He has an extensive background in managing large projects throughout North America, as well as effectively leading project teams to overcome challenging obstacles throughout the course of implementation projects.
Previous to Adaptent, Adam was Director of Consulting Services for an enterprise software company. Here, he directed the consulting team, managed development projects, designed new software for market, and developed partnerships with other software companies in order to improve the marketability of the client's products and their integration capabilities. While a part of this company Adam championed the deployment of new business intelligence product suites along with developing new business intelligence and systems integration platforms. Through these developments, Adam was able to expand these areas into new lines of business and increase the profitability of the company.
Adam graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Management of Information Systems. His employment history also includes Protiviti, San Francisco based independent risk consulting firm, where he managed various information technology compliance projects in relation to HIPPA and the Sarbanes Oxley Act. Adam is also a Microsoft Certified Professional.
